1.2 Basic Search Syntax

  • Searching for a single keyword
    The simplest search that you can conduct is the search for a single keyword. Simply enter any word that you would like to find within the text of the notice. Then click on Search. The results will appear underneath the range of dates.

  • Searching for multiple keywords
    You can search for multiple keywords by separating your keywords by spaces when typing your keywords into the search string line.
    Examples:
    structural engineer
    computer programming
    guided missile
    

  • Searching by Category
    You can search the dates that you selected by category. To search for a category, simply precede the category abbreviation (code) with an @ (at) symbol. For example, to call up all the bid notices within category A within your date range, type into the search string line:
    @a

  • Searching for Multiple Categories
    Searching for multiple categories is similar to searching multiple keywords. Simply separate each category by a space.
    Example:
    @a @z  @12 @65

  • Searching by Solication Number
    To search the database by Soliciation Number, type the number with the prefix sol
    Example:
    SOL DRG5-04-700H
