Description

RFI Enterprise Social Network Platform This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement to purchase a single, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), enterprise-wide, intranet-based, on premise, social network application to connect users for collaboration and information sharing in a secure network environment. This capability is needed for US and Coalition Military and Department of the Army Civilians in the Combined Joint Operations Area - Afghanistan (CJOA-A). As part of its market research, Regional Contracting Center - Afghanistan (RCC-A) is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified, interested contractors capable of providing an Enterprise Social Network (ESN) Platform that meets the requested specifications in the RFI. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of RCC-As market research. No RFQ exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which RCC-A can issue an award. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government does not intend to award a purchase order or contract based only on responses to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI. The intent of this RFI is to determine if there are any vendors that can provide an enterprise-wide, intranet-based, on premise, social network application to connect users for collaboration and information sharing in a secure network environment. The application will require the capabilities listed in the attachment.
