Industry Wide Demo: Accelerate Agency: Dept. of Health and Human Services Office: OS/ASFR/OGAPA/DA Notice type: Special Notice Date/Time: November 13, 2018, 10 am - 12 pm Accelerate is a transformative ecosystem in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Re-Imagine Acquisition Initiative. It is designed to facilitate the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle with transformative technologies like Blockchain, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, Accelerate will address acquisition workforce process challenges, strengthen industry interactions, improve IT security, and increase the savings and quality from HHS procurement activities across the Dept. The Division of Acquisition within the Office of Grants and Acquisition Policy and Accountability (OGAPA) invites industry representatives to attend the virtual demonstration of this technological solution. This solution aligns HHS with the objectives of the Modernizing Government Technology Act (2017) and the Presidents Management Agenda (Memo 17-22). Accelerate uses a combination of emerging technologies (Blockchain protocol, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation) to unlock the power of acquisition data. The core of the solution is the Blockchain based data layer, which features a standardized taxonomy of the agencys acquisition data. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a working model of the solution and provide feedback. We look forward to you taking the opportunity to participate in this event. Please RSVP to this office by Nov. 12, 2018 via Industry Wide Demo - RSVP. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
