(GA-ASI), Poway, CA, to provide up to twelve (12) months of unmanned air system (UAS) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) support for the United States Marine Corps Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) using contractor-owned/contractor-operated MQ-9 Reaper unmanned air systems. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
