The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to repair and replace five roofs at the Salt Lake City facility. The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. Main contract work is confined to the roofing areas on the Power Service Building (PSB). The PSB contains five roofing areas with existing single ply membrane roofing. These sections include: The garage roof, generator roof, UPS/Battery roof, Switchgear roof, and engine generator roof. Work includes the complete systems design and furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, appliances, equipment, transportation and services as required to perform work shown on drawings and specifications. A site visit has been established for Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Refer to the attached Project Specifications for a detailed description of the requirement. Interested offerors are required to submit their written interest in response to this procurement to deana.galloway@faa.gov by 2:30 PM local time on Friday, December 21, 2018.
