Synopsis for Solicitation N6146319RC020FN Venue Rental for Family Enrichment Retreat (FER) in support of CREDO Program. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 13, to a Small Business under FAR Part 19, to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer; to provide a full-service venue for four (4) Family Enrichment Retreats in support of the Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110 Hotels, resort, without casinos, with a size standard of $32.5 Million. This prospective Request for Quote (RFQ) will be processed utilizing Full and Open Competition to Small Businesses. Vendor is required to submit their quote in writing directly to the Contract Specialist, Joshua Shuman at Joshua.g.shuman@navy.mil no later than Thursday, 27 December 2018 at 3:00 PM EST. NOTE: Only electronic submissions shall be accepted. Hand-carried or faxed quotes will not be accepted. A complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 19 December 2018. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
