This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-101 (effective 10/26/2018). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541350, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. SB registration will be verified in System Award Management (SAM) and Small Business Administration (SBA). Quotes will be considered non-responsive and rejected if the Contracting Officer is not able to verify and view contractor registrations. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, Texas require furnishing of all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, management, and personnel necessary to provide five-year, semi-annual and annual tests as required by code A17.1 for elevator safety and maintenance inspection services. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract; see attached Performance Work Statement for full requirement details. Period of Performance: March 1, 2019 February 29, 2024 {one (1) base year; plus, four (4) additional one (1) year extensions to be issued at Government s discretion.} Questions on this combined synopsis/solicitation shall be sent to point of contact listed above by February 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time). An amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted with all questions and answers.
