Fort Frederica National Monument - REMOVAL OF HAZARDOUS TREES Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, ┐Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, ┐ as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and will be evaluated using the procedures in FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730, with a small business size standard of $7.5M. The South Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, FL 33034 is seeking pricing for tree clearing services as identified below: This acquisition will result in a firm-fixed price contract. Place of Performance: Fort Frederica National Monument/Glynn County. The Southeast Hurricane Recovery Office is seeking to procure the services of tree clearing for the Fort Frederica National Monument, Saint Simons Island, Georgia.
