PROJECT TITLE: Crab Orchard Demolition Project-Removal and Demolition of Ten Buildings PROJECT LOCATION: Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge 8588 Route 148 Marion, IL 62959-5822 ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Abatement of contaminant materials and demolition of nine units (buildings) which will include small attached buildings, support utilities, sidewalks to the next building that are not being demolished and debris that has fallen off of the buildings. The work area is located at two sites on Crab Orchard NWR. Area 2D has eight units (buildings) with a total estimated square footage of 42,926 square feet of area. The EMA building is located less than two miles away and has an estimated square footage of 6,060. Demolition will include removal of all materials down to a clean concrete slab. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for Small Business concerns.
