Description

DEMOLISH BLDG. 972 AND MISC. SITE WORK AT SELFRIDGE ANGB � Project VGLZ 202001. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to demolish and to dispose of facilities, various structures, roads, railroads, sidewalks, and utilities; the Contractor shall restore the site following demolition, re-grade and establish grass groundcover on the sites as described below. Demolition includes, but is not limited to, buildings listed in Table 1.01 below and as defined specifically on the information drawings provided. The Contractor shall be held responsible for all requirements described in the SOW, contract documents and all work, including that of his subcontractors, if any. All work shall be done in accordance with the contract documents. Failure to familiarize oneself with their requirements will not relieve the Contractor of his responsibility to comply with contract document requirements. The organization of the work, specifications into divisions, sections and articles, and the arrangement of drawings shall not control the Contractor into dividing the work amongst Subcontractors or in establishing the extent of work to be performed by any trade. All work performed under the scope of work shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and codes, ANG policies and regulations, General Specifications, and the SOW as outlined. F.T. as approximate values. Total Sq. Ft. of the Demolition site will include these buildings and various ancillary facilities defined on the informational drawings. All areas should be field verified by contractor. Contractor shall remove all buildings foundations/slabs and associated sidewalks, parking lots, drives, and curbs as shown on plans; additionally, various site amenities such as power poles, pad mounted transformers, trees, shrubs, bushes, and parking blocks are required to be removed.
