INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division U. S. Naval Test Pilot School (5.1) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with DGA Aeronautics to Provide fixed wing aircraft and pilot support for the USNTPS fixed wing short course. Under the authority of FAR�Part 12 and FAR Part 13.� This announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ).��� ELIGIBILITY This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611512, Size Standard of $27,500,000.00 , PSC code U099. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a Small Business/Other Socio-economic Set-Aside. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE PoP: 1 Oct 2020 - 30 September 2023� Base with 5 option periods ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This is a firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offerors initial offer should represent the vendors best quote in terms of price and acceptability. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation.
