THE RESPONSE DATE IS HEREBY EXTENDED TO 08 SEPTEMBER 2020.� AMENDMENT 0001 POSTED TO ADD PERFORMANCE BOND REQUIREMENT TO THE RFQ.� ALL OFFERORS MUST SUBMIT A BID GUARANTEE�WITH THE QUOTE.� A PERFORMANCE BOND WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subparts 12 and 13, Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The PSC is�P400 - Salvage Services � Demolition of Buildings. The Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, SC is seeking to purchase building demolition services at its main facility.� This will be a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract. All interested companies shall provide quotations IAW the attached RFQ (statement of work SOW is embedded) and the Drawings and Specifications attachments. The purchase order estimated period of performance is 09/21/2020 � 12/31/2020. All quoters shall submit one signed copy of the solicitation, which has all required fields/information completed (to include any required fields in the clauses).� Proof of insurance with minimum coverage identified in the RFQ may be requested by the Contracting Officer prior to award. All quotes shall be sent to the�Columbia VA Health Care System NCO-7�Contracting Office at duaita.roseboro@va.gov. Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government. Offers will be evaluated based on PRICE ONLY, following determination that the contractor is responsible and�capable of�performing the�services. The award will be made to the response most advantageous to the Government. Responses should contain your best terms, conditions. Quoters shall submit questions, or list exception(s) and rationale for the exception(s), if any, no later than 4:00 PM on�20 August�2020. Submission of your quote response shall be received not later than 4:00 PM on 08 September 2020 at duaita.roseboro@va.gov. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).
