COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION COMBO: Metal Detectors (UFR) i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Solicitation FA4877-20-QU004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07, Defense Procurement Notice 20200819, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001. iv. This is a total-small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. v. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following: CLIN 0001 � CEIA Walk-Thru Metal Detector (Mfr# PMD2PLUS-EZHD) QTY: 10 EA CLIN 0002 - Transport Case with Wheels (NSN# 57290) QTY: 10 EA CLIN 0003 - Stabilizing Base Plates (NSN# 64355) QTY: 20 EA All items shall be FOB Destination. vi. Attachments: a. Provisions and Clauses b. Brand Name Justification and Approval vii. The government will award to the offeror whose quote is the lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror�s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service viii. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion, but reserves the right to conduct discussions. Therefore, the offeror�s initial offer should contain the offeror�s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. xi. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. xii. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time) a. Questions are due by 16 September 2020, 2:00 PM. b. Answers will be provided by 17 September 2020, 2:00 PM. c. All quotes shall be submitted by 18 September 2020, 2:00 PM. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure their quote was submitted via email on time & review the post for any changes or amendments to this RFQ. xiv. Point of Contacts are: a.
