Description
RESPONDER LODGING CAPSULES The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency�s (FEMA) mission is helping people before, during, and after disasters. One of FEMAs� responsibilities is to ensure the effectiveness of emergency response personnel in responding to emergencies and disasters. �Types of disasters and emergencies that could happen in the Continental United States (CONUS), as well as outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations include, but are not limited to, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, cyclones, tornadoes, blizzards, acts of terrorism, tsunamis, and avalanches. Provide turn-key Lodging Capsule units to house FEMA and FEMA-approved responders. Lodging Capsules will be sleeping units containing beds, showers, restrooms and sink with support services including wash and fold laundry, janitorial, equipment, staff, onsite medical and morale welfare recreation and catering services. Period of Performance is a 60 calendar days base and one- 30 calendar days option.
