The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials and equipment to provide Waste and/or Debrisremoval (hauling) services, Waste and/orDebris Recovery/Recycling off-site Sorting Services, and Compostremoval (hauling) services in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation. �Services shall be provided atvarious Federal Office Buildings located within GSA, PBS, National CapitalRegion (NCR), Office of FacilitiesManagement, under the jurisdiction of the various Service Center Delivery Teams (SCDT). The National Capital Region (NCR) encompasses Washington, DC; Montgomery and Prince Georges Countiesin Maryland; Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties in Virginia; and the incorporated cities ofAlexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, and Manassas in Virginia. All collected trash (Municipal Solid Waste-MSW) shall be sorted to glean for recyclable materials. �All collectedconstruction debris shall also be transported to a facility where all materials will be sorted to glean for the recoveryof recyclable materials. �All MSW and construction debris brought to a sorting/recovery facility will become theproperty of that facility however ALL recovered recyclable materials MUST be processed AFTER sorting at anauthorized Recycling Remanufacture. �The designated recovery facility shall comply will all local, state, andfederal regulations. The vendor is responsible for selecting a facility of their choice.� All MSW will be sorted for the following materials: All recyclable paper, all recyclable cardboard, commingled cans and bottles (aluminum and bi metal cans, glassbottles, and plastic bottles), to include all and not limited to Resin Codes 1-6 #1: polyethylene terephthalate (PET),#2: high-density polyethylene (HDPE), #3: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), #4: low-density polyethylene (LDPE), #5:polypropylene (PP), and #6: polystyrene (PS), and used laser/toner printer cartridges. All designated compostable material shallbe transported to a local Composting Facility.The contractor shallperform to the standards described in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The initial contract period will be for 1 year with the Government having the unilateral option to extend services for four (4) consecutive 12-month option periods. The proposed contract start date is January 1, 2021; contractor performance will be dependent upon GSA Security Clearance. This procurement is open to all businesses within the 8(a) Business Development Program. All responsive/responsible offers will be given consideration for award. This procurement is open to vendors who can perform the services within the commuting Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. The solicitation will be posted electronically through the following website: www.beta.sam.gov on or about September 18, 2020. All interested parties may download the solicitation from the internet. Hard copies will not be available. No Telephonic request for this solicitation will be taken. All work for this procurement is within the Washington DC Metropolitan area, vendors must be able to perform work in this area. No Travel/Commuting cost will be paid.
