USSOCOM has developed a GOV owned TDP for the 5.56 CALIBER PLASTIC SHORT RANGE TRAINING AMMUNITION (PSRTA) (M862A1) in accordance with the attached performance specifications.�The Government reserves the right to award a contract if it is decided to be�in the best interest of the public.�� Planned Acquisition:� The Government contemplates an award for 1st to 2nd quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 and to utilize a 5 year single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract of these cartridges for Special Operations Forces training. The estimated quantity to be procured for each fiscal year is 2 million of 5.56 CAL PSRTA ammunition Submission Information:� All responsible and interested sources should submit their production capabilities for producing the requested ammunition to the Government Detailed specification.� The respondent must demonstrate and provide valid documentation that they have the manufacturing ability to produce the requested ammunition. Respondents to this Sources Sought who are capable of manufacturing these items should, at a minimum, provide the following information for U.S. Government review: Basic Company Information: Name, website, phone number, business size (and any socio-economic considerations such as 8a, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business), NAICS code, Cage Code Corporate Point of Contact: To include phone number and email address Technical Capability: Companys technical capability and capacity to manufacture the item(s), past production experience (if any), description of facilities and personnel, expected delivery schedule for each item (in days after award), maximum monthly production quantities for each item, minimum order quantity required for each item, lead times that may impact delivery, price estimate for each item, information on how the company will meet safety / hazardous material handling requirements. Production Information: State whether the company will be the actual manufacturer of the items or if it will subcontract all or a portion of the requirement. If the company is not the actual manufacturer, indicate what percentage in dollars (not including Materials) and/or what production operations it will subcontract, describing any anticipated teaming arrangements. Indicate what percentage would be assembled or produced in the U.S. for each item. Describe or provide existing/anticipated licensing agreements with current producers, including the name of the licensing agency. Please identify any Proprietary information submitted. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this request. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-government personnel and entities.
